Barely Fashionista.

I Am Not A Fashionista.

I do not count as a fashionista. But considering the place where I am, I can honestly say that I’ve been minding my clothes and makeup now. And that is the biggest irony because I am living in one of the most (if not the most) conservative countries in the world… SAUDI ARABIA!

Welcome to the land of sand and sunshine. Where Pinoy dreams are either made or broken. Where men go to work and women go to shop. Where modern clothes are hidden beneath traditional ones. Where fashion, style and beauty really don’t matter at all, if you’re not a semi-kikay Pinay like me.

Just because we’re wearing the black cloth doesn’t mean we’re anti-fashion and anti-style. Actually, Saudi Arabia is a land of sales! As in up to 70% discounts (or sometimes more!) on popular brands like Zara, MNG, Terranova, etc. Even high-end brands can find their way to anyone’s closet. Just because they’re more affordable here compared to Pinas. As in. I cannot emphasize that enough hence I started this blog. Just so you know that Saudi Arabia might be seen as a desolate place, it actually is not. Especially when you’re in love with good bargains.

So, join me in my adventures here in the land of endless sun.

Saudi Arabia…Always wanted to go there…Perhaps someday I’ll go and have a visit there…I always find your traditional clothes interesting! Like to try it someday…
