Just because I think I can rock it

… a pair of pumps with three inches heels, that is!

I’m generally tall for a Filipina. I mean, not “model” tall but the five feet six inches kind of tall. I’m pretty much proud of my height but I am not that proud to flaunt it a higher notch so I stay away from foot wear that has heels measuring 2.5 inches or above. Until now.

(This current changes in my fashion persona has been bringing in “first since [fill in the blanks]” moments in my life. Like the first time I wore a long skirt since grade 5.)

Anyway, I went to Nine West in Al-Akaria Mall to hunt for discounted shoes. Well, my first stop was the ALDO Liquidation store which offers discounts on their spring-summer shoe collections but I couldn’t find anything that I like so I transferred to the adjacent Nine West. This branch is where I bought my first ever pair of shoes in Riyadh a few months ago.

There’s a small rack of on sale items inside Nine West and that’s where I first went in this second visit. A bright maroon pumps with three-inch heels caught my fancy instantly. The color is just gorgeous! Unfortunately, it only comes in a 9 and 10. (I’m an 8 1/2 in Nine West.) So I decided to go with the gray version:

Nine West, SR95 (P1,187.50)

It looks great also and surprisingly, I feel confident that I can walk on it without stumbling and tripping and making a huge embarrassment out of myself. Haha. I think I can definitely rock this shoe! Haha. (Well, I haven’t used it since I bought it, hehe. But it’s only been a week! Leave me with my confidence first.)
